Be Still

             What does it mean to Be? Be seems like such an elusive word to me at times. What do you think of when you hear that? Psalm 46:10 – Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations. I will be exalted in the earth.             The focus here is “Be still .” In this culture of busy busy busy— it’s almost a competition of who is the busiest. Who here knows that person?  That person who is always “busy”? Maybe that person is you. Maybe you’re the one who has forgotten what it’s like to be still.   Why has busyness come to symbolize how we are doing in life? If we are busy, we must be important.
